A year ago today, Members of Congress introduced the bicameral, bipartisan Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act. In 2024, Congress dropped the ball on affordable broadband. But in this new year, in this new Congress, we need to connect everyone.

The ACP was popular, well-targeted and evenly distributed. Its purpose was well-founded and its benefits were well-documented.

Congress dropped the ball last year, but this new Congress needs to fund the program. We agree, @Benton_Inst!
